Baltimore Adapted Recreation and Sports
Grab your bike and helmet and come for a ride on the scenic trails of Maryland. Young, old, or middle aged, exercise is all the craze. We have fun whether fast or slow, it doesn't matter what distance you go. Talking and laughing the time doesn't go slow.

Bring your own bike, helmet and gear. If not BARS has a variety of hand-cycles,
There is no charge for those with their own bike.
Other things to bring:
- Water
- Sunglasses
- Cushion
- Snacks
- Gloves
Assistance is provided for transfers and positioning. Riders are grouped by ability
to ride together on the trail. No rider is left behind. Friends and family are welcome
and all types of equipment are available for use, including our new foot pedal trike.
No experience is necessary and instruction is provided as needed.
Volunteers are usually needed.

Paper Mill: Take York Road (Route
45) to Cockeysville (Exit 18 off I-83).
Turn right (east) on Ashland Road.
Bear left onto Paper Mill Road. Go
less then ½ mile. Look for safe
