Baltimore Adapted Recreation and Sports

Take a trip to beautiful Western Maryland and join us for three fun
filled days on the snowy slopes. Bring your family, friends and
caregivers for a short winter vacation and enjoy the fresh outdoors.
Fun on the slopes by day and in the lodge by night. Come
socialize with the group, meet new people and play. This is a great
trip for
people of all ability levels.

Join us for some on and off snow fun at SKI BASH 2010. This is a ski clinic for
persons of all ages and skiing abilities from the never ever to the expert. Certified ski
instructors come from around the region to provide top quality instruction using the
latest in adapted skiing equipment.

Lessons: Each skier is guaranteed ONE 2 1/2 hour lesson per day. There are
two lesson sessions each day: am 9 - 11:30 and pm 1 - 3:30.

Snow Board Lessons: We will be offering adapted snow boarding lessons for
individuals who can ski standing up (with or without adapted equipment).

Equipment: All necessary equipment is provided during the time of your
lesson.

If you are not independent with loading/off loading the chair lift you must sign up for a
lesson and you will be paired up with an instructor appropriate for your skiing level. To
ensure safety, we reserve the right to assess your lift loading and unloading prior to
giving out a lift ticket. We require all sit down equipment have a chair lift safety
retention strap and evacuation system installed on the unit.

Helmets: We recommend that all skiers wear a helmet. We do have
helmets available for use, however, if you have your own bring it.

Weight limit: Please be advised that there is a weight limit. This is for your
safety.

Personal Care: We do not provide personal care. If you require assistance
with your daily care, you must provide that person.

Transportation: You are responsible for your own transportation to/from Wisp
Resort.

Meals: Lunch is included in your registration fee. For your convenience, we
will also offer breakfast and dinner for a fee.

Family Member Skiing Discounts: Thanks to the generosity of Wisp, we are
also offering discounted lift tickets and equipment rental.

Family Lessons: Family members interested in skiing or snow boarding
lessons will need to take lessons through the Ski School at the resort. Call
Wisp 301.387.4911, option 0 for information and reservations.

Refund Policy: Cancellations to attend SKI BASH made by January 15th will
receive a full refund. Cancellations made after January 15th and before
February 1st will be charged a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations after that
will NOT receive a refund!

We will be staying at the Wisp Resort Hotel. This is a ski in, ski out hotel. The hotel
has restaurants and bars on site.

Hotel Rooms and Accessibility: You may choose to reserve a standard room or suite
with either one or two beds. The hotel does have accessible rooms. Keep in mind
that these will go quickly. Some of the hotel rooms may require doors to the bathroom
be removed. They are very willing to remove the door for you. Some rooms have stand
up showers with sliding doors and others have tubs, in some cases the tub may be
more accessible. If you MUST have a tub bench - We suggest you bring one with you!

To make your room reservation call between 8 am and 8 pm.. Tell them that you are
with "BARS SKI BASH" to receive the discounted rate. We have a block of rooms
held.

To ensure you get the discounted rate, your reservations must be made by January
15th. After that date, the hotel can release the remaining rooms in the block for the
general publics use and charge full price for the rooms

The hotel has a 14 day cancellation policy
