| Thank you BP Carroll Independent Fuel |
| Carroll was lucky enough to meet the good folks from Baltimore Adaptive Sports and Recreation (BARS) in 2012. With our BP program, Fueling Communities, we were able to donate $7,500.00 to the local Paralympic sports club. Pamela Lehnert, the principle at BARS, insisted we attend their annual Ski Mash this year to see some of the great things they do with the donations. It was amazing and inspiring to see the human spirit at its best. All of the athletes had different stories but shared a commonality of “never giving up” and “living life to the fullest.” This spirit was never more appearent when you could see empty wheelchairs piled up at the foot of the mountain and just knowing that their owners were on the slopes enjoying life. We hope to continue our newly formed relationship with BARS and look forward to spending much more time with these good people. |
